I have an Acer X203H monitor and it needs 1600 x 900 resolution or my windows looked stretched and blurry on the screeen? 1600 x 900 is not one of the choices when I go to the control panel to try to alter the display.

  Windows will automatically detect your monitor and use a built in plug and play (PnP) driver to provide the supported resolutions in most cases. Plug and play monitors usually do not need a separate monitor driver.

• Thanks for responding. The Laptop is a Dell Latitude E7450. I am connecting to the monitor through the port replicator using a VGA cable. The problem is that the proper resolution (1600 x 900) is not appearing when selecting the resolution from the Display 'PnP Monitor' on the control panel.
